I am an independent producer of web sites and interactive stories that inform, educate, and entertain.
My process incorporates aspects of information architecture and user-centered design to give order and meaning to your content.
I have a master's degree in digital media communication and ten years of experience producing interactive work.
National Geographic needed a set of interactives to educate web site visitors about global warming. Seattle firm IF/THEN designed the pieces and hired me as producer. I collected literature and research, consulted with climate scientists, and worked with the National Geographic team to shape the content.
Last fall, I led soon-to-be-launched web redesign projects for two cutting-edge medical non-profit organizations: The Allen Institute for Brain Science, and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Working through Blink Interactive, I did user research, wireframes, and usability testing. Stay tuned for case studies.
Richard Saul Wurman invented the field of information architecture back in the 1970s. My interview with him has been published in a new book, "Follow For Now," edited by my friend and colleague, Roy Christopher.
I can help you create a rich-media web site or kiosk that inspires and delights visitors. Email me using this form or call 206-325-1422 to discuss the possibilities...
